Wat Phra Prang is located in Bang Rachan District, about
17 kms from Singburi city. This temple was built in the early
Ayutthaya period (at about the 14th century). Within the
precinct of the temple are features of historical and
archaeological importance namely :
1) Phra Prang which was built in the early Ayutthaya period,
presumably during the reign of King Narai the Great. There
is a smll hill topped with a reproduced Buddha's footprint
within the Prang.
2) Ancient kilns dating back to Ayutthaya period were found
in the nearby area.

The Fine Arts Department registered the kilns, Phra Prang,
and the old Ubosot (ordination hall) as national ancient
monument from August 29, 1967.
