Wat Phikun Thong , usually called "Wat Luang Poh Pae"
by the local people, is located at about 9 kms from
Wat Phra Non Chaksi in Tambon Viharn Khaeo, Thachang
District. The big Buddha image of this temple can be
seen from a distance (the biggest sitting Buddha image
in Thailand). People from all over the place come
to this monastery to pay their homage to Luang Poh Phae.
