Woodcarvings Woodcarvings are in room No.13. Usually teak is used for woodcarvings, and they date from the 17th to 19th centuries. Incised Door-Panels of Wat Suthat Bangkok style (early 19th century A.D.) some designs were carved by the King Rama II of Bangkok Dynasty. The large doors at the back were saved from a fire in Wat Suthat in Bangkok. ![]() In this room there are also Kinaree Mythological Bird a half-bird, half-human figure often seen in Thai art.
