Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan
This temple is located on Ratchadamnoen Road. It is one
of the most important historical sites in Southern Thailand.
The pagoda, 55.78 meters high, has a distinctive Sri Lankan
style. The top is entirely covered by pure gold. There are
many important buildings inside tthe temple, especially the
royal building which has beautiful architecture from the
Ayutthaya period.
