Travel from Bangkok to Korat or Nakhon Ratchasima (256 kms) will take about 3 hours. From Korat take highway No.24 to Nong Kie District then to Nang Rong District. After Nang Rong turn right at Ban Tako for another 12 kms to Prasat Phanom Rung. Total driving time will be about 4.5 - 5 hours. At Prasat Phanom Rung area, there are two ways to visit the historical park. One is to go straight to the car parking lot and start from there. The other short cut is to turn right at the entrance and drive up to the back side of the main tower.
